Unleashing Our Inner Roar For Breast Cancer Research

One of the events Wills employees look forward to every year is entering a team into the Peterborough Dragon Boat Festival. Started in 2001, the Festival has raised over $3.1 million for state-of-the-art equipment that enhances breast cancer detection, treatment, and care at Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC).

For the last four years, Wills has sponsored and entered a boat, joining 64 other teams paddling our hearts out on Little Lake. This year, we levelled-up and became a Bronze Sponsor! Besides gathering a team to paddle for our loved ones, the Wills Social Committee held fundraisers like BBQ’s and a silent auction to support our paddlers. We also have three employees on our staff who volunteer with the organization year-round, as well as on the day of the festival, making this event a huge part of the Wills community — and one we couldn’t be more fired up about!
